Performance Training for Athletes in Riverdale, MD
Cleared Isn't Ready. Let's Close That Gap.
Whether you're returning from injury or just want to train smarter, our PT-led performance programming gives you objective testing and a plan built around your sport.

Training Hard Without the Right Plan Keeps You Stuck in Place
Generic programming doesn't match your sport
A random gym plan doesn't account for the demands of CrossFit, Hyrox, basketball, or cycling. You need programming built around your movement patterns and your goals.
You feel cleared—but not ready to go back
Medical clearance doesn't mean sport-readiness. Without objective testing, you're guessing—and guessing raises your risk of going right back to square one.
Pushing hard without structure leads to setbacks
Training without a plan leads to overuse, plateaus, and re-injury. You need smart programming that builds you up instead of breaking you down.
Performance Training Led by Licensed DPTs
This is not a personal training session. Our providers understand injury risk, movement quality, and sport demands at a clinical level—and your program reflects all three.

Who We Work With
Our performance training is built for athletes who want to move better, compete harder, and stay healthy long-term. Here's who we commonly work with.
Return-to-Sport Athletes - Cleared but not confident—needing objective testing before going back to full competition.
CrossFit and Hyrox Competitors - Building strength, power, and durability to train consistently and compete at their best.
Basketball Players - Athletes managing the demands of jumping, cutting, and sprinting with targeted movement and strength work.
Cyclists and Triathletes - Endurance athletes seeking bike fitting, gait analysis, and sport-specific conditioning.
Runners - Recreational and competitive runners building strength and improving form to reduce injury risk.
Active Adults Seeking Prehab - Not injured yet, but committed to staying that way with a professional movement screen.
Post-Rehab Athletes - Finished a PT episode and ready to keep building toward performance rather than just baseline.

Frequently Asked Questions
Wondering if performance training is the right next step? Here's what athletes ask us most.
Is this different from working with a personal trainer?
Yes—meaningfully different. Our providers are licensed DPTs who understand movement dysfunction, injury risk, and clinical assessment at a level a personal trainer is not trained for. Your programming is built not just to make you stronger, but to address the movement gaps that could derail your training down the road.
Do I need to be injured or in PT to do performance training?
Not at all. Performance training is designed for athletes who are healthy and want to stay that way—or who are building toward a competition or return to sport. If you're not currently injured but want smarter, more intentional programming, this is a great fit.
What does return-to-sport testing actually measure?
We use force plates and VALD systems to measure strength, power output, and limb symmetry—giving you objective data on readiness relative to established sport benchmarks. We also use running gait analysis to assess your mechanics. The goal is to replace guessing with data before you go back to full competition.
What sports do you work with?
We work primarily with CrossFit athletes, Hyrox competitors, basketball players, cyclists, runners, and triathletes—as well as active adults who train regularly in any capacity. If you're not sure whether your sport is a fit, reach out and we'll talk through it on a discovery call.
How do I get started with performance training?
Start with a free discovery call. We'll talk through your sport, your goals, and what you're working toward. From there, we'll determine whether a full movement assessment, return-to-sport testing, or a direct program design session is the right first step for you.
